Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I’m revising my poem for creative writing. The topic is “first love”, so mine is kinda sucky. My classmate Christian and I both agreed that we don’t really care for writing “first love” stuff. I haven’t even written a poem in awhile too.
You (for those of you who choose to read this post anyway) know the topic, but what’s the content? Well, I’m not going to post the rough poem on here at this time, but I will say that it’s pretty much about how I thought I was in love with someone and couldn’t explain my strong feelings towards them, but it turned out it wasn’t love at all. Or rather, I loved the person but was not in love with the person, ya know? Growing up, you start to understand yourself better, especially some things you did or felt when younger. So it’s more of a “false first love” poem.
I’m going to edit a few more lines, email this to my professor, then shut my eyes for the night.
Ciao.
