Ignore my tired eyes…
Sometimes a friend will randomly show up at your house and surprise you with an awesome mix cd for your bday (a week and a half late, but they put a lot of thought into it, so no care yo). Then you chat with them for a good 15-20 minutes in your driveway, notice a dead baby bird and want to cry, and then you explain why you can’t make it to the Swerp launch show Saturday night. Then you part ways with your friend and go inside to eat and watch House Hunters on HGTV.
Anyway, besides feeling tired from doing everything regarding this silly house, I worked on html coding stuff with my mom because we’re supposed to be making a website for my godfather’s new business he’s starting. My mother literally knows more about computer and coding stuff than I, and that is why I want to be a psychologist and have nothing to do with technology. But I’m the one with Adobe Dreamweaver on mi computadora, so it’s pretty cool and helpful with this whole website stuff.
Listened to M83, Tiesto, LCD Soundsystem, and chiptune covers of Daft Punk songs. So I’ll probably be in the mood for any type of electronica-type music for next day or so, except when I’m listening to Kurt’s mix cd. Dance with me, you guyzzz.
Alright, I’m officially delirious, and I may or may not have an interview tomorrow. Today was a good day, regardless of the random housing stress :]
Ciao e buonanotte.

Messy hair, don’t care. Tired eyes, tell no lies. Still awake, have some cake. Feelin’ good, cruise the hood. Movie time, bud light and lime. Think food, good mood.
Why am I not a rapper?
Also, this Vacationer Paradise Mix I just listened to is the shit.
Also, do any of my friends actually like house music? Because I really want to get down to some good house music. Like, why was I not living while Larry Levan was spinning at Paradise Garage? Ugh.
Anyway, I’m going to bed now because music got me all emotional and shizz, and I’m seeing one of my buddies tomorrow and don’t want to be a zombie with him haha.
Ciaoooo.

Cage the Elephant @ Lollapalooza in August 2011… One of the best days of my life.
This set was amazing. One of my favorite acts at Lolla last year no doubt. I almost went blind from the rain causing my leave-in conditioner to run into my eyes, but it was worth it. So worth it.
The wild JGL in its natural habitat. Here in the first photo you see him blending in with his surroundings. The unassuming jacket is part of this creature’s camouflage. In the second pic his plumage is clearly more flamboyant, in readiness for the coming spring. Winters are harsh in the wilds of LA and many species have endured temperatures below 80. The wild JGL grips the tree stump in his talons, stalking his next meal. The scarf is used to distract his prey when he pounces. Watch closely as he perches motionless, eyes fixed on a coffee from Starbucks, and perhaps a sandwich. He is ready to attack.

WTF is that second picture??! Can’t stop laughing…
